This shot of M42 and M43 was taken early this year. I took the picture with the SAC 8 camera, using the Omcon 807 riding piggyback on the Nexstar 11 GPS. The final image is a compilation of a series of stacked images taken at different exposure lengths that were then stacked as layers of one image in Paint Shop Pro 7.
