This M27 shot was taken with my Omcon 807 refractor riding piggyback on the Nexstar 11 GPS. Once again, I was experimenting with the use of an OIII filter to bring out the details of the nebula. I can't believe it took me a year to get around to imaging the Dumbbell Nebula. It is an easy, bright, big target. Well, now I have my version of the classic.
