Sharpless 2-184 - The PacMan Nebula

This image of Sharpless 2-184 was taken with the Hyperstar 3 equipped Nexstar 11GPS on 8/26/09 under the light-polluted skies of Tempe, AZ. The PacMan Nebula is also known as NGC281. The camera used was the modified Canon Rebel 1000xs. This shot was taken with a Hydrogen-Alpha filter fitted to the Canon camera. This image is a stack of over a hundred 25-second ISO-1600 subs taken with Nebulosity 2 and stacked in Deep Sky Stacker.
