Sharpless 2-142 The Wizard Nebula

 


This image was taken with the Hyperstar 3 equipped Nexstar 11GPS on 8/15/09 under the relatively dark skies of Dewey, AZ.







The camera used was the modified Canon Rebel 1000xs. This image is a stack of over a hundred 25-second ISO-1600 subs taken with Nebulosity 2 and stacked in Deep Sky Stacker.
