M93 - Open Cluster


 



This shot was taken on 2/06/10, using a Slooh remote-controlled telescope in Dome 1 of their facility in Australia. The telescope used was a 14-inch f/5.5 Schmidt-Cassegrain and the camera was a SBIG ST-10XME. This shot is the result of a processed 5 minute exposure.

The open cluster, M93, is about 3.600 light years from earth.
