M80 - Globular Cluster

M80 is a globular cluster that lies 27,000 light years away. This shot was taken on May, 27, 2009 using my new C8 scope at f6.3 riding on an ASGT mount. The shot was taken under the light-polluted skies of Phoenix. I am not particularly happy with this shot, but consider it a place filler for now. I will eventually get a better shot at this cluster...
