M64 - The Black Eye Galaxy
This shot was taken with the Hyperstar 3 equipped Nexstar 11GPS on 4/25/09 under the light polluted skies of Phoenix.
The camera used was the modified Canon Rebel 1000xs. This image is a stack of 17-second IS0-1600 subs stacked in Nebulosity 2. This was the first evening I was able to try my new Huteck LPS P2 light pollution filter with the Hyperstar. I had to bump up to ISO-1600, but the filter did seem to help with my light pollution problem.
