M36 - Open Cluster
This shot was taken on 2/03/10, using a Slooh remote-controlled telescope in Dome 2 of their facility in the Canary Islands. The telescope used was a 85mm f/5.6 apochromatic refractor and the camera was a SBIG ST-10XME. This shot is the result of a processed 5 minute exposure.
The open cluster, M36, is about 4,100 light years from earth.
