This shot was taken on June 25, 2011 with my modified Canon 1000XS using my 102mm APO refractor unguided on the CGEM mount. The shot was taken under the relatively dark skies of Dewey, AZ.
The spiral galaxy, M108, is about 46 million light years from earth.
