M101 - Spiral Galaxy in Ursa Major

 


This is one of the first shots taken with the Hyperstar 3 equipped Nexstar 11GPS on 3/28/09.







The camera used was the modified Canon Rebel 1000xs. This image is a stack of 34 30-second IS0-400 subs stacked in Nebulosity 2.
